Description
White calcite on a bed of quartz and tan dolomite from the Herja Mine, Chiuzbaia, Baia Mare, Maramures County, Romania. The calcite shows an unusual curved sheath habit, essentially upturned half-rosettes, which is one of the rarer habits from this classic European locality.
