Scot Krueger is a longtime member, past president, and current vice president of the BMC.

The meeting will start with some time for socializing, then discussion of club business and welcoming of new members, followed by a panel moderated by Scot.
The discussion will concentrate on a topic that members of the BMC Board have received a lot of questions on: field collecting. We will have a panel of BMC members who are experienced field collectors, and they will discuss field trips, including both the protocols involved and their experiences; collecting safety; field collecting gear; and collecting localities.
If all goes to plan, some members will offer some of their extra equipment to help new field collectors get started. If you have any extra yourself and can bring it along to pass down to others, we encourage you to bring it!
After the talk, we’ll have the traditional BMC specimen raffle! Buy some tickets for a chance to win!
