If it’s December, it’s time for your Boston Mineral Club membership to be renewed!

So who needs to renew?

You don’t need to renew if:

  • You set up a Recurring Payment membership. If so, you’re all set! You’ll be renewed automatically using the method of payment you chose before.
  • You joined or had your membership confirmed after October 1 of 2024, or you paid in advance for an extra year. If so, you don’t need to renew until the end of 2025!
  • You have an honorary membership.

You do need to renew if:

  • You chose a One-Time Payment membership when you signed up or renewed, and you did so in 2024 before October 1.

How do you renew?

  1. For an Individual Membership go to https://bostonmineralclub.org/one-time-payment-form-individual-membership/, or for a Family Membership go to https://bostonmineralclub.org/one-time-payment-form-family-membership/.
  2. If you have no changes to your contact info or who’s in your membership, just make your payment, following the instructions at the top for your preferred payment method, and send the Membership Coordinator an email at membership@bostonmineralclub.org saying you’ve done so.
  3. Or, if you need to make changes to your info, make your payment, then fill out and submit the Membership Form on the page you used in Step 1 above. Alternatively, you can go to https://bostonmineralclub.org/membership-account/ and, under My Account, click Edit Profile, and make the changes yourself.
  4. You’re done.

Don’t know when you joined or if you need to renew?

  1. To check for sure, go to https://bostonmineralclub.org/membership-account/, log in if you haven’t already, and see what the Expiration date is in the My Memberships box. If there is no expiration date or it’s next year, you’re all set! If it says December 31, 2024, you need to renew! But wait, hold on! 
  2. Below “My Memberships,” you will see a “Renew” link—Don’t Click It!
    • If you have a One-Time Payment membership (you want to pay manually each year), using the “Renew” link will change your membership to a Recurring Payment membership with auto-pay and will require you to have or create a PayPal account. Do you want to make that change? If so, go ahead and click “Renew” and complete the process.
    • Instead, do you want to keep your One-Time Payment membership and renew by making another one-time payment? If so, follow the instructions under “How do you renew?” above.
