The BMC Swap & Sale is a members-only event where members can swap, buy, and sell mineral specimens, lapidary work, jewelry, equipment, books, and other things mineral-related. This low-pressure, informal environment gives you a chance to meet other members, ask questions, learn, socialize, and streamline or add to your collection.
You can reserve a table in advance to show your wares or just show up to browse.
A special feature of the Swap & Sale is the Mineral ID corner. If you're having trouble identifying a specimen, resources provided include hardness testing kits, a microscope, and reference books to help you do the ID yourself, or if you need assistance, knowledgeable members are on hand to help you reach a verdict.
